Growing up, my family vacations were spent traveling across the U.S., visiting countless sites of historical significance, like the Gettysburg battlefield and Pearl Harbor. These experiences shaped my writing interest today. Outside class, I enjoy playing soccer and singing in my school’s choir. I spend my summers working as a camp counselor and lifeguard, and a fun fact about me is that my name, Devin means poet.
